Two things that most designers strive to achieve are international acclaim and industry recognition. Thomas Althaus has received both in abundance. He began winning a string of awards for his work shortly after graduating from university, with distinction in interior and furniture design.

Now firmly established in the echelons of interior and furniture design, Althaus is able to choose his own projects, working from his own studio in his home town of Düsseldorf. “My task is to achieve a design that is not limited to one country, but can serve on an international level… a sound design which will serve the market for many years to come.”
